The Portzline’s [Family + Senior Portraits]
Posted on January 12, 2010
Aaron and I have known the Portzline’s for a number of years now. You can’t help but smile when you’re around them. They’re fun and sweet and down to earth… and they really enjoy being around each other! This year is Rachel’s senior year in high school and we’ve been planning her portraits for quite some time. When Sherry told me that their last family portrait was years and years ago, I told her to bring the family along and we’d get some family portraits too! We had a really fun morning together. Thank you guys for letting me take your portraits, but also for always being there for our family and for loving on our kids. You guys are awesome!

Brielle [Senior Portraits]
Posted on December 16, 2009
Brielle is a beautiful, confident, and fun-loving girl and we had such a good time shooting her senior portraits. She brought along two of her best friends to make her laugh and to take a few pictures with. Senior year is such an exciting time! Brielle, I had a blast! Thanks so much!

Lynsey [Senior Portraits]
Posted on November 3, 2009
I met Lynsey last week and we immediately hit it off. She is super sweet and friendly, kind and thoughtful. She told me prior to the session that she LOVES flowers, so I knew the Japanese Tea Gardens would be a fabulous location for her senior portraits. Congratulations, Lynsey, on your senior year and good luck as you head off to ACU next year!

I’m so excited for you!

Stephen – Senior Portraits
Posted on June 11, 2009
Stephen is just one of those guys you can’t help but love. He’s sweet and charming. My kids adore him and any time he’s around, they are climing all over him (he’s like 6′ 6″!). He had an awesome senior year playing basketball at MacArthur, and it’s no surprise that we just now finally made time to get a few senior portraits! Congrats, Stephen on your graduation and we wish you all the best as you move on to play ball in Oklahoma! You’re awesome!

Of course, I had to get a shot of Stephen with his mom! ![]()

Jessica – Senior Portraits
Posted on May 18, 2009
Things have been quite busy around here lately (which is a good thing), so I apologize for the sporatic nature of my postings! I shot two weddings this weekend, so I am off to edit, but I wanted to post a few photos from Jessica’s senior portrait session a couple weeks ago! Isn’t she gorgeous?!

Alysa – Senior Portraits
Posted on May 3, 2009
I met Alysa when she was a junior high student not long after I moved here to San Antonio and she’s always had a special place in my heart. One of the first things that struck me about her was that she was so polite and thoughtful. As I got to know her, I learned that was only the beginning. Alysa is passionate, considerate, extremely smart, and she has a wisdom far beyond her years. I hadn’t seen her much over the past couple of years, but when we got together for her senior portraits, there was no shortage of laughter and conversation, and I had an awesome time. Alysa, you are truly a fun and beautiful person. Thank you for trusting me with your senior portraits!

Becky – Senior Portraits
Posted on April 7, 2009
funny, colorful, crazy, dancer, glittery
Those were Becky’s five words that she chose to describe her style and personality. After a little more conversation, I discovered that she loved flowers and nature, so we decided to start out at the Botanical Gardens. We had a great time talking and getting to know each other as we walked around their beautiful grounds (my favorite is their Hill Country area with the wildflowers and rustic cabins!). After that, we decided a change of scenery would be nice and we headed down the road for pictures that would reflect a different side of Becky. Once again, I had a great time! Senior portraits are so fun because seniors (especially the girls) are up for anything! Here are some of my favorite shots from the day…

Rebekah – Senior Portraits
Posted on April 4, 2009
Rebekah and I had been planning her portraits for a while, and finally, the big day arrived. As I walked outside to go to my car, I realized… it was raining. I called her and suggested that we might reschedule. Can we do it anyway? she asked. Hmm… I wondered to myself, maybe we could! So we ventured out, umbrellas in tow, and we ended up having a lot of fun! When it was all said and done, it even stopped raining! The cloud cover actually made for beautiful lighting, and I couldn’t get enough of Rebekah’s gorgeous skin tone! It’s just perfect in every picture! Thanks, Bekah, for a great photo shoot and for braving the elements!
