Derek + Amber [Helotes Engagement Portraits]

Posted on September 3, 2011

Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday weekend! I know I am. I started off the morning in Helotes with our good friends Derek and Amber (who will be getting married next month!!) so we could shoot their engagement portraits. We had a great time (they’re such a fun couple), and as we were finishing up, Helotes Marketplace was getting going so Aaron and the kids met us there to walk around, check out the vendors and the BBQ competition, and then when we were sufficiently drenched with sweat (why do we live in Texas again?!), we all parted ways and I spent the rest of the day with the fam driving through the Hill Country, listening to good music, and enjoying life. I am so thankful for days like today.

And of course, I can’t leave you without a few pics from Derek and Amber’s session!

Guest Books [PHS Must Haves]

Custom Photo Guest Books

One of our most popular wedding items is the custom photo guest book. What a great keepsake! This 8×8 book includes photos from your engagement session and has lots of room for your guests to write well wishes or advice. It’s far more personal than the old stuffy kind that only has lines for signatures, and you’re sure to pull it out time and time again throughout the years. This updated design is modern and fresh and can be customized with your wedding colors!

Sleeping newborn in tutu
makes me want another baby! Isn’t she precious?! I’ll try and post more pics later of this beautiful baby, just wanted to share. These sleeping baby pics get me every time. Congrats to Courtney and Ryan on the arrival of their sweet baby girl!

Dana + Luke [Seguin Engagement Portraits]

Posted on January 26, 2011

Can I just say that I love Dana and Luke? I mean really, they’re the cutest, sweetest, coolest couple. A few weeks ago we met out at the family lakehouse for their engagement portraits. Not only was it beautiful out there, but it also happens to be where Luke proposed! I so enjoyed getting to know them both, and can’t wait for the wedding! Here are a few of my favorites!

Steve and Familly [San Antonio Family Portraits]

Posted on January 5, 2011

Just before Christmas, I got a call from Steve, who was going to be in town for the holidays and wanted to organize some family portraits for he and his parents, siblings, niece, and nephews. I think it’s such a cool thing for families to take family portraits, even after the “kids” are grown and moved out. Families continue to grow and change, and it’s such a great thing to have and to look back on!

I was so delighted to meet such a fun and loving family, and we had such a great time!

Cheri + Glenn [San Antonio Engagement Portraits]

Posted on December 22, 2010

I’m getting ready to head out of town, but wanted to share Cheri and Glenn’s engagement session before I left. We met out at Bracken Village a couple of weeks ago for their portraits and from the moment we began, there were tons of laughs! These two have so much fun together, and it’s contagious. I just love them! Here are a few of my favorites.

Merry Christmas!

Marie + Brendon [Denton Engagement Portraits]

Posted on December 18, 2010

I met Marie and Brendon over the summer and immediately knew that I liked them. They’re really laid back and you can tell that they are crazy in love… and she studies Art at UNT. (I love Art.) From the moment I arrived in Denton, we had a great time. From the balloons, to fitting the balloons in the car, and the fact that it was the windiest day in a hundred years. It was a super fun shoot, and I have a million shots I’d love to share, but here are just a few of my favs.

Marie and Brendon, thanks for making this session so fun… and for being so patient waiting for me to get these up! Looking forward to your wedding at The Vineyards this spring!

Jackson and Reagan [Children's Portraits]

Posted on December 16, 2010

I’ve got to say, I’ve got the cutest nieces and nephews in the world. (Really, I do.) This is Jackson and Reagan. I took them out for a few Christmas portraits and we had a super time. They did so good that they even got to stop at the store and pick a piece of candy on the way home. (Reagan really wanted a pink lollipop!) I am so blessed by these kiddos.

2011 Brag Books

Posted on December 11, 2010

One of our most popular items is our Brag Book. These spiral bound, pocket size books are an easy and affordable alternative to the fine art albums and collections, and they make great gifts for grandparents! I am excited to present the new 2011 design! I love the addition of the fun borders (5 design options in all, selected to fit the look and style of your session), and the fact that the images fill each page for maximum detail.

This is a great Christmas gift idea for family! Order yours by 12/15 and it will be ready for pick up by 12/22!

Priscilla [McNay Bridal Portraits]

Posted on November 29, 2010

I had the priviledge of being a part of Priscilla and Xavier’s wedding on Saturday, and I’m so excited that I finally get to show you some of her bridal portraits! (I always hate having to wait until after the wedding to post them. Ha ha!) We shot her bridal portraits at the McNay, and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful afternoon. It was amazing! Priscilla, you are beautiful! Be looking for wedding photos soon.
