Reagan [Portraits]

Posted on September 23, 2009

I’m not a super girly girl. Don’t get me wrong, I love the chance to get dressed up, I love high heels and jewelry and all that, but I can just as easily be found sporting jeans, a t-shirt, flip flops and a ponytail. I’ve always sort of envied people who always look classy and gorgeous and put together all the time and my sister-in-law, Natalie, and my niece, Reagan, are always like this. They just have this classic femininity about them that I admire — not the stuffy, unapproachable kind — just comfortable-gorgeous-put-together-classy-ness. Know what I mean?

I wanna be like them when I grow up.

So today, when we ventured out into the rain and mush for Reagan’s one year portraits (could it have really been one year since she was born?), that was my goal — to capture the essence of girliness, beauty, and class that Natalie and Reagan exude. I had fun, girls! And Happy Birthday, Rae-Rae!!
