Holiday Portrait Event – Marianne
Posted on November 20, 2008
I came to San Antonio the summer of 2001 to be an intern for the youth pastor at our church. I had a blast that summer getting to know the students in our ministry, and one of the very first girls I met was Marianne. We hung out a lot that summer and throughout the next few years (because clearly I decided to stick around). I many memories hanging out with Marianne and her younger sister, Liz (and for some reason almost all of those memories seem to include Sonic! Mmm… Strawberry Limeade!) and now Marianne is getting ready to graduate from COLLEGE. I’m starting to feel old.
I was excited when Marianne called and asked to be a part of this year’s Holiday Portrait Event so that she could have some [college] senior portraits for her graduation announcements. Marianne, I’m sad we don’t get to hang out more often, but I had a blast hanging out with you last Saturday! Let’s try and hang out again before another year is up!
This is one of my favorite images from Marianne’s session. 400 pixels doesn’t do it justice.
