Natalie – Maternity Portraits
Posted on September 9, 2008
My wonderfully amazing sister (in-law) is a beautiful 37 weeks pregnant, and though she’s been reluctant to take any maternity pictures, I convinced her Saturday to let me have 10 minutes with her. I am SO glad she let me because she is radiant!
Natalie, I had so much fun with you (as always!) and we’re so excited for baby Reagan to arrive! You are an inspiration in so many ways. I pray that you would know just how amazingly beautiful you are!
Love, Bre
I decided to give a couple of these photos sort of a vintage look…

Keri – Maternity Portraits (a preview)
Posted on September 4, 2008
A few weeks ago, Keri invited me to her home to shoot some maternity portraits for her. We had such a great time, even though we didn’t get to do the outside shots we wanted because of the storms (we were watching the news the whole time because there was a tornado warning!). Keri was so much fun and probably one of the cutest pregnant women EVER! I’ll post more pictures later, but for now, here is one of my favorites.

Back to Work!
Posted on September 2, 2008
Okay, so it’s not like I’ve been really gone from work, but the kids just started MDO today and so I now have TWO DAYS a week that are mine. I will have all sorts of uninterrupted time for picture-taking, learning, editing, brainstorming, creating, having a blast doing my job! I’m very excited, not just for me, but for my kids too. I feel called and very blessed to be able to work from home so that I can be there for my kids while they’re young, but it gets very difficult to balance things at times. Sometimes my family has to peel me away from the computer, and I don’t like that. Hopefully having these days to dedicate completely to my work (along with the other few hours I set aside), I will be better about dedicating myself completely to my family the rest of the time.
To kick it all off, I decided to spend the morning working in a quiet bookstore with a delicious (and much needed) iced chai. Ahhh…
