Jason, Natalie, & Jack-Jack

Posted on November 8, 2007

This morning we headed out in search of the perfect photo location… there’s no telling what Natalie was thinking when we went off-road and drove down to a dried up creek bed just outside of town! We made our way through brush and over rocks and crevices, but I think it was worth it! After that, we headed into Bracken to get some pictures of Jack in his old timey jacket and hat (Natalie’s great-grandmother made it for her dad when he was a baby!). As luck would have it, there was a train parked there and the engineers were kind enough to let us on and let Jack honk the horn and everything. Who wouldn’t enjoy that?! Anyway, we had a great time. Thanks Jason & Nat!

My daughter came along and she was taking pictures too (well, she was pretending she was taking pictures… with a camera-sized rock!)

On your shallow depth of field did you do that solely with your lense or did you use photoshop? Thanks! I loveyour work!

DOF is controlled solely by my lens. I have a 50mm 1.8 lens and I LOVE the look it gives!
